Window Clean: Water Fed Pole
Water fed pole window cleaning is a technique that uses a long telescoping pole and a brush to clean windows from the ground, without the need for ladders or scaffolding. The process typically involves the following steps:
- Set up the water fed pole: Assemble the water fed pole and attach it to a water source, such as a garden hose or a water tank on a truck. The pole will typically have a brush on the end, which can be used to scrub the window.
- Wet the window: Turn on the water and use the brush to wet the window thoroughly. The brush can be used to scrub away dirt and grime.
- Rinse the window: Once the window is scrubbed, rinse it with the water fed pole to remove any remaining dirt and cleaning solution.
- Dry the window: After rinsing, turn off the water and use the water fed pole to remove excess water from the window. This will leave the window damp but not soaking wet. Allow the window to air dry or use a squeegee to remove any remaining water.
The water fed pole technique is useful for cleaning windows that are difficult to reach, such as windows on upper floors or windows that are situated over a sloped or uneven surface. It also allows for a more efficient and faster cleaning process, as multiple windows can be cleaned in succession without needing to move a ladder or reposition the equipment.
